Activity: Professional Development Activity KA153YOU. 3 participants from each organisation (9 organisations) and we are going to have also 4 facilitators, a total of 27 participants working in different methods to raise the quality of youth work and youth projects by fostering creativity and innovation among youth workers and young leaders.

One of the primary needs of the project "Coaching as skill for Youth Empowerment"is to increase awareness about the benefits and effectiveness of coaching. Coaching is the process of guiding and supporting individuals to achieve their goals, develop their skills, and reach their full potential. It is a collaborative and structured conversation that helps individuals identify and overcome obstacles, make better decisions, and take action towards their desired outcomes. Coaching can be applied in various contexts, such as professional development, personal growth, and even sports. By providing valuable feedback and encouragement, coaches empower individuals to explore their strengths and weaknesses, fostering self-awareness and continuous improvement. Ultimately, coaching promotes accountability and empowers individuals to take ownership of their own success.

The project aims to address the following issues and needs in the field of coaching:

  • Equip participants with practical coaching skills. This includes developing their ability to listen actively, ask powerful questions, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate goal-setting processes.
  • Empower participants by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to overcome challenges and obstacles in their lives.
  • Raise awareness and understanding of the power of coaching among individuals and organizations.
  • Increase access to coaching for individuals from diverse backgrounds and with different needs.
  • Promote evidence-based coaching practices that are grounded in scientific research.
  • Foster collaboration between coaching and other professions to create a more integrated and effective approach to personal and professional development.
  • The project can help participants understand how coaching can support personal growth, enhance performance, and improve overall well-being.
  • Introducing various stress management and stress relief techniques, such as mindfulness, relaxation exercises, and time management strategies.
  • Providing resources and guidance on how to identify and manage stress triggers, develop resilience, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Increase Creativity and Innovation:Creative expression can help to open up new avenues of thought and allow participants to explore new ideas and solutions.
  • Develop abilities for better understanding of oneself and others: Participants will have the opportunity to come to know themselves better during the training, as well as communicate their feelings and emotions in front of others.They will be more aware of their identities and sentiments as a result.
  • Develop leadership and Innovation: Through coaching sessions participants will learn how to effectively lead and inspire others, as well as cultivate a culture of innovation within their teams. They will gain valuable skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making, enabling them to navigate complex challenges and drive positive change.
  • Supports personal and professional development: Coaching can help individuals to develop their personal and professional skills, which can lead to better job performance, career advancement, and personal fulfillment.

In conclusion, by enhancing coaching competencies, participants will be better equipped to support and guide others in their personal and professional development. Empowering participants through this training will enable them to confidently apply coaching techniques and strategies in various contexts in their lives. Additionally, facilitating networking and collaboration will foster a supportive community of coaches who can continue to learn from each other long after the training has ended.
